Paul Pentel - Training Program Director
The aims of the TTURC training program, also called the career development program, are to expose all levels of trainees, junior faculty, and established investigators to transdisciplinary tobacco research and provide the skills needed to pursue careers in this area. The core concept of this program is providing trainees with exposure to a range of disciplines representing different approaches and levels of analysis, and to the mentorship of a scientist engaged in transdisciplinary research who can model how to incorporate these diverse concepts into a productive research program. Trainee appointments last 2 years.
